The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) will be holding their annual conference this year in Orlando, FL. As a part of the conference they are participating in a service project with Rebuilding Together Orlando (RTO) in which 60 volunteers will be helping make critical home repairs and renovations to at least two homes in Parramore. In preparation for the volunteers to arrive, work has already begun on one of the homes. TECTA America is playing a large part in this project as they donated a high quality metal roof to one homeowner in need. Not only did they cover material costs, TECTA America employees were out for three days tearing the old roof off, replacing all damaged and rotted plywood and than re-roofing the home. Without their generous donation, this project would not have been possible. In February, volunteers from NRCA will be finishing work at this home which will include exterior paint, landscaping, critical door replacements, and the installation of several health and safety items.
