NRD Makes History in Historic Town of Eatonville
National Rebuilding Days in April 2015 was a huge success. Rebuilding Together Orlando (RTO) joined Rebuilding Together affiliates nationwide to provide free home repairs and modifications for low-income Americans – senior citizens, persons with disabilities, military veterans and families in need. RTO provided extensive home repairs to 4 homeowners including roof repairs, exterior paint, addressing accessibility issues, and fence repairs along with installing additional S.A.F.E. at Home Kits in the households of 16 Eatonville residents, improving the overall health and safety of the community. At the end of the week, 20 households benefited from the sponsorship offered by Wells Fargo, SunTrust, Sears, and IFMA along with the hands of many volunteer groups.
